About a month ago, I signed up for Influenster. Influenster is all about getting online people of influence to give legitimate reviews of full-size products. I honestly wasn’t sure I would qualify as a “person of influence” since my online following isn’t massive or anything.

It turns out, even I qualify! I just received my first VoxBox with a product to try and then review. I get to keep the free product, and I am allowed to be 100% honest and authentic in my review. Since I love free stuff AND sharing my opinions with friends, I love Influenster. At the end of the review phase, I even get to fill out a survey to help the company improve their products. It’s a win-win.

Here’s my first VoxBox. I received a full-size Degree MOTIONsense DrySpray deodorant in Fresh Energy by Unilever. I have never used a spray deodorant, and this says it lasts 48 hours, so I am excited to give it a try. I really like Degree deodorants, though I usually choose unscented because of my sensitive skin and nose. (Update: I wasn’t really a fan of the product. I saw no additional benefits over normal stick deodorant. It creates a cloud of toxicity when you spray it. And the smell is terrible. I was excited to try it for free, but wasn’t thrilled with the product.)

If you’d like to become an Influenster, just sign up, link your social accounts, answer some questions, and leave reviews to show what categories you really care about. Then, when a product is up for review that is a good fit, they will send you an email with a last-step qualifying survey. Then, you just get to wait for your free product in the mail.

And it would make my day if you would join my mailing list. I will never send out more than one email every week (and right now it’s more like once a month). The newsletter includes updates on new posts and information about giveaways.
